When Mo-Jet unveiled their latest creation—The Beast (their new DivingJet)—I had to break down what makes this gadget so special. We’re talking about an electric watercraft that acts as a surface bodyboard, an underwater dive scooter all rolled into one.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Mo-Jet Beast, how it handles, and why it’s making huge waves in the electric water sports world.
First Impressions: Fully Carbon & Customizable Design
Right off the bat, the build quality on The Beast is top-tier. Mo-Jet didn't skimp on materials here—the entire body is constructed from full carbon fiber, making it extremely durable while keeping it lightweight for maximum speed and agility in the water.

How It Rides: From Surface Speed to Deep Diving
What really separates The Beast from standard underwater scooters or jetboards is how naturally it transitions between riding on top of the water and plunging beneath it.
Surface Performance
On top of the water, it operates like an electric bodyboard. Powered by a high-performance motor and 1KW twin batteries, this thing rips across the surface at speeds up to 55 km/h. That makes it officially one of the fastest electric bodyboards.
Diving Mechanics
Once you´re ready to head underwater, you don't have to push complex buttons or flip manual valves.
Entering a Dive: You simply lean forward and push the nose of the board down. Water channels directly through the intake at the front, instantly pulling you below the surface.
Under the Waves: Underwater, The Beast hits top speeds of up to 25 km/h.
Surfacing: When you're ready to come up for air, just pitch the nose back up. Water rapidly drains out through the rear exhaust ports, and you immediately plane back out onto the surface without losing momentum.
Battery Life & The Modular Ecosystem
Range on any electric watercraft depends heavily on how hard you squeeze the throttle. With its dual battery setup, you can expect anywhere from 15min (if you are riding it hard as a bodyboard) to perhaps 60 minutes (if you are riding it at very low, comfortable speed underwater) of ride time per charge.
Final Verdict
The Mo-Jet Beast bridges the gap between adrenaline-pumping surface jetboards and ocean exploration dive scooters. With full carbon construction, a 55 km/h top speed, and seamless diving controls, it's one of the most exciting additions to the motorised watercraft space this year.
That being said, The Beast is a hardcore, extreme gadget, and it absolutely beat me up! It takes real technique, core strength, and practice to handle that much raw thrust, especially for smaller people like myself who is 160cm tall. And while 25 km/h underwater sounds incredible on a spec sheet, practical advice: you cannot ride this thing at max speed underwater. The drag and water pressure hitting your mask, neck, and body at top speed gets crazy uncomfortable very fast. You have to feather the throttle and dial it back to find the sweet spot, otherwise the water pressure will quickly put you in your place!
