Design and Build
In my experience, the JetWave's traction pad extends much further back and offers a significantly less slippery texture than the Audi board. The Audi Adventure features a smooth, angled section at the rear completely devoid of any grip tape. While this missing grip area felt slick to me, the angled, hydrodynamic edges of the Audi board do make it noticeably thicker. This is suppose to make it easier to carve at high speeds.

JetWave Carbon 100: Uses an integrated handle style flush with the traction pad. While I found it a bit less comfortable to use when carrying the board, compared to Audi board, the design is seamless when you are out riding—you never feel it underfoot because it matches the height of the deck.
Aerofoils Audi Adventure: Features soft, wakeboard-style handles completely out of the way of your stance. In my opinion, these are much nicer, offering a comfortable, ergonomic grip that makes transporting the board vastly easier.
The material composition yields a distinct tactile difference.
The JetWave is constructed from a 100% carbon monocoque, which feels uniform and incredibly rigid.
Aerofoils advertises the Audi Adventure as carbon, but it felt noticeably different to me during use—leading me to suspect it may utilise a some other materials inside which are then topped with a carbon layers.
Ride Performance
On paper, the Audi Adventure takes the crown for raw power, boasting a top speed of 55 km/h compared to the JetWave's max speed of 42 km/h. On the water, their individual personalities immediately shine through.
When it comes to transitioning off and back onto the water, the JetWave stood out to me. It didn't stick to the surface during touchdowns, resulting in significantly smoother, more forgiving takeoffs and landings compared to this specific Aerofoils model.
Both remotes feel smooth, lightweight, and comfortable in the hand. However, I preferred the JetWave's controller simply because it integrates a clean touchscreen interface.
Battery Technology
Battery technology is where JetWave distingushes themselves from Aerofoils. Namely, JetWave´s battery offers a major advantage in total lifespan. It is designed to endure up to 1,500 charging cycles before its performance begins to drop, which is roughly three times longer than standard e-foil batteries on the market. It also saves you considerable time on beach days: the JetWave charges from zero to 80% in just 40 minutes, whereas the Audi Adventure takes about 80 minutes to hit that same mark—even if you buy their upgraded fast charger.
For me, the real deciding factor comes down to owner´s peace of mind. JetWave backs its equipment with a straightforward, 3-year global warranty. In contrast, Aerofoils offers a standard 2-year warranty, but it includes a catch: you have to bring the board in for a mandatory service inspection at the 12-month mark just to keep the coverage valid.

The Aerofoils Audi Adventure is like a Porsche 911 GT3: It is stiffer, louder, and lacks the smooth comfort you might want for casual, relaxed cruising. However, it is explicitly engineered for uncompromising high-speed performance and aggressive carving.

My Recommendation: If your absolute priority is carving hard at maximum speed, and you are a avid aficionado of Audi, the performance-focused Audi Adventure is the tool for the job.
